In continuation of my confidential

despatch (2) dated the 9th of June, 1931, 1

have the honour to inform you that, with the

concurrence of my Executive Council, I have

decided that the European brothels in this

Colony should be closed at the end of 1931,

and notice to this effect has been served on the

seven houses concerned.
